Welcome to the official website of the Alpha Chapter of Sigma Omega Upsilon! We are a co-ed international business fraternity open to all majors that focuses on global leadership by balancing the exceptional education offered by the University of South Carolina with further development in professionalism, social conduct, and cultural skills.

A note from our CEO:

Sigma Omega Upsilon is dedicated to ensuring that our members graduate from USC as well-rounded individuals, equipped with strong professional, social, cultural, and philanthropic skills. Through opportunities such as internship preparation, cultural exchange with our esteemed Honorary Members, and community service initiatives, we foster both personal and professional growth. Our ten-week professional development program is designed to help students from all backgrounds grow within our core pillars while building meaningful, lasting connections with one another and the brothers of SOU.

The greatest strength of Sigma Omega Upsilon lies in the tight-knit, inclusive community we foster—one where every member feels supported. Our culture is rooted in mutual encouragement, with each individual committed to helping others achieve their goals and standing by one another every step of the way. Through shared growth and the unwavering support of both our active brothers and global alumni network, we remain true to our mission: preparing one another to become dynamic leaders dedicated to making a positive impact on the world.
